Job summary

ABB is seeking a Maintenance Production Technician for our onsite Pinetops, NC facility. You will support the Maintenance team, execute maintenance guidelines, and boost equipment and production-line efficiency.

Qualifications include 5+ years in manufacturing, data analysis, and hands-on engineering skills, with the ability to lift up to 40 lbs and work with common hand tools. This is an onsite role with safety as a priority.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a manufacturing environment.
• Data Analysis & Reporting.
• Engineering & Manufacturing Processes.
• Planned Maintenance & Backlog.
• Specialist Technical & Engineering Skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Legal authorization to work in the US.
• Knowledge and use of tools – tape measure, calipers, grinders, or other hand tools, as needed.
• Ability to safely use a ladder while performing the job, as needed.
• Ability to lift, push and pull up to 40lbs.

Responsibilities

• Support the Maintenance team and help increase the overall efficiency of equipment and the production line.
• Respond to emergencies/breakdowns.
• Report recurring problems with machinery and equipment.
• Outline problems with parts for record-keeping.
• Set calibration and adjust equipment, machinery, and instruments to meet production specifications and instructions.
