Job summary

ABB is seeking a Maintenance Production Technician for the Pinetops, NC site. You will support the Maintenance team, following guidelines and improving the efficiency of equipment and the production line, while reporting issues and calibrating machinery to meet specifications.

You will report to the Maintenance Manager and work onsite in a manufacturing environment. The role requires 5+ years in manufacturing, data analysis, and hands-on tool use with safety as a priority.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 5+ years in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong data analysis and reporting skills.
• Experience with planned maintenance and backlog management.
• Knowledge of engineering and manufacturing processes.
• Ability to safely use hand tools and measurement devices.

Responsibilities

• Responding to emergencies/breakdowns.
• Report recurring problems with machinery and equipment.
• Outline problems with parts for record-keeping.
• Set calibration and adjust equipment to meet production specs.
