Job summary

Revel IT is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer Staff contractor in Bridgman, MI to work independently on computer, network, storage, cloud and end-user infrastructure projects. Location requires residing within 50 miles of Bridgman, and this is an onsite role.

Responsibilities include firewall planning, 24x7 on-call support, incident resolution, change management, budgeting input and technical documentation. Seven years in enterprise network operations and Cisco CCNA/CCNP are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Seven years direct support of Network Operations in a large enterprise environment.
• Advanced understanding of network communications technologies.
• Experience with routers, switches, firewalls, and security practices.
• Unix/Linux experience; strong communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Firewall planning, configuration, installation and maintenance for Cisco ASA, Fortigate firewalls and FTDs.
• Participate in rotating on-call schedule for 24x7 support.
• Develop and plan network incident resolution, configuration audits, and vulnerability remediation.
• Provide high-level technical support, administration, and troubleshooting; adhere to change and incident management processes.
• Prepare cost estimates, requirements, and technical recommendations.
