Job summary

Rehmann in Michigan seeks a Senior or Level 2 Network Engineer to design, implement, and maintain high-performing, highly available networks for clients. You will act as SME and escalation point, with strong experience in Fortinet, WatchGuard, Cisco, Ruckus, and Azure networking.

Responsibilities include on-site and remote troubleshooting, security and compliance, disaster recovery planning, presales support, documentation, and mentoring junior engineers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; degree in Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, IT or related field preferred.
• Extensive experience designing and implementing robust, scalable, secure networks for diverse clients.
• Strong knowledge of Fortinet, WatchGuard, Cisco, Ruckus and Azure networking technologies.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain on-premises, co-hosted and cloud networking for clients.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
• Perform remote and on-site troubleshooting while ensuring SLAs and OLAs.
• Document environments, prepare user guides, and assist in pre-sales discussions.
