Job summary

Walbridge is seeking a Project Engineer to join our Operations Team, working on data center, vehicle manufacturing, or general build construction projects. You will plan, develop, coordinate, and manage on-site construction engineering activities for large projects, providing technical support in planning, design interpretation, constructability reviews, and shop drawing processing.

You will also develop and administer project engineering procedures, manage meeting minutes, and maintain control

Qualifications

4-year engineering degree or equivalent technical training and related experience.
Minimum of 3 years similar construction engineering experience.
Advanced knowledge of construction engineering technology, codes, standards, plus an in-depth understanding of the interdependence between other functional units.
Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

Project Execution: Ensure project engineering activities comply with company and contract requirements and support overall construction schedule.
Resource Management: Manage project engineering and related personnel functions and activities including subcontractor planning and administration.
Risk Management: Represent company, project and/or department during A/E, client and project management meetings.
Technical Support: Key technical person on projects, may be responsible for one or more small to medium sized project.
