Job summary

Walbridge is seeking a Construction Project Engineer to join our Operations Team, supporting data center, vehicle manufacturing, or general build projects. You will plan, coordinate, and manage onsite construction engineering activities, review designs, resolve conflicts, and handle shop drawing processing.

You will develop, implement, and administer project engineering procedures, maintain material status reports and assist with project controls.

Qualifications

• To qualify for the role, you must have a 4-year engineering degree or equivalent technical training.
• Minimum of 3 years of similar construction engineering experience.
• Valid driver's license.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Project Execution: Ensure project engineering activities comply with company and contract requirements and support overall construction schedule.
• Resource Management: Manage project engineering and related personnel functions and activities, including subcontractor planning and administration.
• Risk Management: Represent company, project and/or department during meetings.
• Technical Support: Be a key technical person on projects; may be responsible for one or more small to medium sized projects.
