Job summary

Alston Construction is seeking a Superintendent to lead onsite personnel and subcontractors for projects based in the Phoenix/Tempe area. You will plan, coordinate, and execute work to deliver quality projects safely, on schedule, and within budget.

Qualifications

Degree in Construction Management, Engineering or related field and experience managing GC projects.
Design-build experience on relevant project types.
Valid driver’s license with satisfactory driving record.

Responsibilities

Plan, coordinate, and direct onsite activities to meet project goals and schedules.
Review plans, specs, contracts, submittals, and as-built drawings for accuracy.
Schedule and coordinate subcontractors to avoid extra costs and delays.
Monitor subcontractor work to ensure compliance with codes, safety, and quality standards.
Set up project logistics: trailers, equipment, PPE, signage, and postings.
Prepare accurate daily reports, safety logs, and cost coding details.
Close out projects effectively, manage punch lists, and ensure timely completion.
Enforce safety policies and promote a strong safety culture.
Perform other related duties as needed.
