Job summary

Procon Consulting, LLC, a leading construction management and technology firm, seeks a Construction Inspector for a long-term onsite role in Orlando, FL. You will perform QA/QC oversight to ensure compliance with drawings, specs, and contract requirements.

Responsibilities include daily reporting, coordination with contractors, and closeout support for life safety, electrical, mechanical, and structural work. This is a hands-on field position offering strong career growth.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in construction with QA/QC/inspection experience.
• Bachelors in CM/Engineering/Architecture preferred but not required.
• Strong knowledge of construction practices, materials, and QA/QC.
• Experience reviewing drawings, specs, and contract documents.
• Ability to inspect architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, and life safety work.
• Familiar with OSHA safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide QA and inspection oversight ensuring conformance with drawings, specs, and contract requirements.
• Lead onsite inspection activities meeting codes and safety standards.
• Document daily activities, deficiencies, and corrective actions.
• Inspect systems across architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and life safety.
• Prepare daily reports, non-conformance notices, and photos.
• Track corrective actions to resolution.
• Review contractor pay apps against observed progress.
• Support project closeout including punch lists and testing.
