Job summary

Procon-Consulting is seeking an experienced Construction Inspector for a long-term onsite role in Orlando, FL. You will provide quality assurance oversight and ensure work aligns with drawings, specs, and standards.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in construction QA/QC roles, strong knowledge of codes, and the ability to inspect multiple disciplines. This is a fulltime, on-site opportunity with competitive compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years in construction with field-quality roles.
• Experience inspecting architectural, structural, and MEP work.
• Ability to interpret drawings and contract documents.
• Familiar with OSHA and site safety practices.
• Experience with QA/QC and daily reporting.

Responsibilities

• Provide QA and inspection oversight across the project.
• Coordinate onsite inspections to meet codes and specs.
• Document daily activities, deficiencies, and actions.
• Inspect systems (A, S, MEP, life safety) for compliance.
• Prepare daily reports, non-conformance notices, photos.
• Review pay applications against progress and records.
• Support closeout activities including punch lists.
