Amgen is seeking a Senior Oncology Specialist to cover Kansas and western Missouri. You will provide clinical knowledge to medical professionals, build strategic territory plans, manage accounts, and address reimbursement and access challenges while driving product adoption across oncology portfolios.

The role emphasizes a strong collaboration culture, a focus on patient outcomes, and the ability to communicate clinical and economic benefits effectively. Relocation is not offered for this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree and 3 years of sales experience and/or clinical experience in healthcare / scientific field that is not sales related
• OR
• Associate degree and 6 years of sales experience and/or clinical experience in healthcare / scientific field that is not sales related
• OR
• High school diploma / GED and 8 years of sales experience and/or clinical experience in healthcare / scientific field that is not sales related

Responsibilities

• Create and execute on a comprehensive territory plan, including delivering branded sales messages and executing planned programs
• Utilize internal and external relationships to service and manage accounts and resolve reimbursement issues
• Craft an effective marketing strategy to drive sales
• Analyze business effectiveness of sales activities and develop territory plans with your District Manager
• Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and grow as a Sr. Oncology Specialist
• Leverage oncology knowledge to deliver results across the sales cycle
