Job summary

Leap is seeking a Lead Oncology Pharmacist to serve as the accountable clinical owner for oncology, overseeing cases and developing the clinical standards for home or ambulatory infusion care.

You’ll join an early-stage oncology program, establish its clinical framework, and partner with clinical operations, manufacturers, and client teams to deliver high-value care. This role requires a PharmD with active US licensure, BCOP, and PGY2 oncology residency or 3+ years oncology experience.

Qualifications

• PharmD, active U.S. pharmacist license and BCOP certification.
• Completion of a PGY2 oncology residency or at least three years of oncology practice.
• Direct clinical oncology experience in infusion centers or related settings.
• Strong clinical judgment and ability to discuss reasoning with oncologists.
• Experience building clinical programs, protocols, or care pathways.

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve Leap’s oncology clinical model, including patient eligibility, therapy-specific guardrails, lab and treatment-clearance requirements, monitoring, and escalation standards.
• Evaluate oncology therapies for Leap’s Specialty Drug List and define appropriate patients, regimens, and administration settings.
• Review every oncology case before initiation and reassess as treatment or clinical status changes.
• Lead clinician-to-clinician discussions with oncologists and cancer centers, including complex cases.
• Define nursing competencies, administration requirements, documentation standards, and provider communication expectations.
