Job summary
UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas seeks a Nurse Supervisor for the Oncology Navigation Team to oversee daily patient care, supervise nursing staff, and ensure adherence to care standards across the oncology navigation program.
The role requires an ADN, RN license, 5 years of nursing experience including 1 year in supervision, with BSN preferred. This is a full-time role with Monday–Friday schedule and one remote day per week; benefits are comprehensive.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an approved nursing program with ADN.
- 5 years of general nursing experience including 1 year in a supervisory role.
- RN licensure by Texas Board of Nursing and BLS certification upon hire.
Responsibilities
- Oversees and/or mentors nursing staff and other non-licensed personnel.
- Manages daily patient care services and monitors quality of care.
- Assesses and evaluates systems for delivery of care and patient outcomes.
- Contributes to development of care standards and performance of staff.
- Ensures compliance with laws, regulations, and internal policies.
