Job summary

ICON plc is seeking a Senior Clinical Research Associate for Ohio with 2+ years of on-site monitoring experience and a focus on oncology. You’ll act as the liaison between investigational sites and sponsor, perform site visits, ensure regulatory compliance, and manage documentation in CTMS/eTMF.

The role requires travel up to 50% across the northeast region and a life sciences degree or RN qualification. You’ll join a global CRO dedicated to safe, effective clinical development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences or RN qualification.
• 2+ years of on-site monitoring experience in pharma/CRO.
• Experience in Oncology, including prostate and lung cancer, and hematology.
• Proficient with ICH-GCP and regulatory requirements.
• Experience with CTMS and eTMF systems.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact between investigational sites and sponsor.
• Conduct site visits including selection, initiation, routine monitoring, and close-out.
• Ensure site compliance with ICH-GCP, SOPs, and regulations.
• Maintain up-to-date documentation in CTMS and eTMF.
• Support site staff training and maintain compliance records.
• Monitor patient safety and AE/SAE/PQC reporting.
• Assist in tracking site budgets and payments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners to support trials.
