Job summary

ICON is seeking a Senior Clinical Research Associate specializing in Oncology in Ohio. You will serve as the primary liaison between investigational sites and sponsors, conducting site visits and ensuring regulatory compliance.

The role requires a life sciences degree (or RN), 2+ years of on-site monitoring, and willingness to travel up to 50% across the northeast. Proficiency with CTMS/eTMF and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences or RN with relevant clinical research experience.
• Eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
• Minimum 2+ years of on-site monitoring experience in pharma/CRO.
• Experience across Oncology, including Prostate and Lung cancer, and Hematology.
• Strong knowledge of ICH-GCP and local regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact between investigational sites and sponsor.
• Conduct site visits: selection, initiation, routine monitoring, and close-out.
• Ensure site compliance with ICH-GCP, SOPs and regulations.
• Maintain up-to-date documentation in CTMS and eTMF systems.
• Support and track site staff training and compliance records.
• Monitor patient safety and AE/SAE reporting.
• Travel up to 50% for on-site monitoring in the northeast region.
