Qualifications

• PharmD degree and licensed pharmacist (RPh/PS) in good standing.
• PGY-2 Residency or PGY-1 with 3+ years progressive clinical pharmacist experience.
• Board Certification in a specialty area within 18 months of hire (BPS).
• Evidence of autonomous clinical practice and leadership in initiatives.
• Experience in oncology-focused research or quality improvement.

Responsibilities

• Directs and optimizes pharmacotherapy for complex oncology populations, including patients with refractory disease and those in clinical trials.
• Leads implementation of new clinical practices and technologies within the service area to expand services.
• Designs, conducts, and publishes practice-based research and quality improvement projects.
• Serves as Program Director, Coordinator, or primary preceptor for residency programs.
• Contributes to medication safety initiatives by analyzing errors and improving safety.
