Job summary

Moffitt Cancer Center is seeking an Advanced Clinical Pharmacy Specialist–Gastrointestinal Clinic to lead complex oncologic pharmacotherapy for hospital inpatients and ambulatory settings. You will drive clinical practice innovation, participate in trials, and guide residency programs.

You will mentor pharmacists, residents, and students while shaping formulary decisions and pathways. This role emphasizes leadership, research, and collaboration within a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• PharmD degree and pharmacist licensure required.
• Completion of PGY-2 residency or 3+ years in academic clinical pharmacy.
• Board certification in a relevant specialty within 18 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Lead pharmacotherapy for complex oncology populations, including trial participants and novel therapies.
• Implement new clinical practices and technologies across the service area.
• Design and publish practice-based research and quality improvement projects.
• Serve as program director/preceptor for residency programs and mentor learners.
• Contribute to medication safety initiatives and policy development.
