Job summary

Immunocore, a leader in oncology-focused therapies, seeks a senior clinical development leader to drive strategy across oncology programs and lead design and medical oversight of studies. The role involves protocol development, monitoring, data review, and regulatory submissions, with significant cross-functional collaboration.

You will advance biomarker-driven trial designs and serve as the in-house oncology expert, liaising with external partners and global regulators to accelerate development.

Qualifications

• MD or MD/PhD with research training and oncology drug development experience.
• Strong knowledge of pharmacokinetics, biomarkers, statistics, and regulatory requirements.
• Experience leading clinical development and trials in oncology, immuno-oncology preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and shape clinical development strategy and plans for assigned studies.
• Provide medical oversight of studies, including monitoring and data review.
• Develop innovative trial designs and biomarker strategies.
• Engage with KOLs and external partners to support collaborations.
• Support regulatory submissions and global health authority discussions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align product strategy.
