Job summary

All Seniors Foundation seeks an Oncology Navigator in Los Angeles to guide seniors through cancer treatment, coordinating appointments, explaining options, connecting to financial aid, and supporting families.

You will work with oncology teams to remove barriers to care, conduct intake assessments, and coordinate care across oncology, radiation, surgery, and supportive services. We offer competitive pay and benefits, with AONN+ certification funded.

Qualifications

• RN license (CA) or MSW preferred.
• AONN+ Oncology Navigator certification or willingness to obtain.
• 2+ years oncology, social work, or care coordination experience.
• Strong empathy and ability to navigate complex emotional conversations.
• Comfort with end-of-life and palliative care discussions.

Responsibilities

• Conduct oncology intake assessments for seniors newly diagnosed or in active treatment.
• Coordinate appointments across oncology, radiation, surgery, and supportive care.
• Connect patients to financial assistance, transportation, meal support, and lodging programs.
• Provide emotional support and educate on treatment options, side effects, and clinical trials.
• Track outcomes including treatment adherence, satisfaction, and barrier resolution.
• Partner with City of Hope, USC Norris, Cedars-Sinai, and community oncology practices.
