The START Center for Cancer Research in Utah is seeking an Oncology Advanced Practice Provider / Nurse Practitioner to support protocol-driven patient care and early-phase oncology trials under the supervision of the Principal Investigator.

The role emphasizes conducting examinations, coordinating visits, assisting with adverse events, and collaborating with the care team to ensure safe, compliant study delivery in Phase I trials.

Qualifications

• Advanced practice degree with current licensure in the applicable state(s).
• Minimum of 5 years of oncology clinical care or oncology clinical research experience.

Responsabilités

• Serve as a sub-investigator on assigned early-phase trials after training and delegation.
• Conduct protocol-required exams and study visits for screening, treatment, and follow-up as delegated.
• Prepare medical histories and summaries to support PI evaluation.
• Assist with screening activities and chart review for feasibility.
• Support post-consent screening and clarify protocol questions.
• Assist with adverse events documentation and safety calls as delegated.
• Act as first point of clinical contact for day-to-day management and escalate to PI.
• Coordinate with nursing, pharmacy, coordinators, and data management to ensure protocol-adherent care.
