Job summary

Brooks & Freund seeks an experienced Project Superintendent to lead on-site operations for ground-up multifamily projects in Fort Myers, FL. You set the tone for safety, quality, and accountability, directing field personnel and subcontractors to deliver on-time, on-budget results.

Responsibilities include managing all construction activities, maintaining schedules, producing daily logs, and ensuring QC and testing coordination. The role requires strong leadership and pre-employment screening.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of on-site lead Superintendent experience on ground-up multifamily projects.
• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Key competencies: communication, conflict management, and demonstrated leadership.
• Diligence, quality, and safety are non-negotiable.
• ProCore, MS Project and Excel experience required.
• Block and precast experience a plus.
• Successful completion of pre-employment screening.

Responsibilities

• Manage all on-site construction activities from pre-construction through closeout.
• Help create and maintain the project schedule; review progress weekly.
• Keep accurate field notes and produce daily logs and reports.
• Initiate field change requests and manage site logistics and costs.
• Coordinate equipment and secure the site at close of day.
• Maintain as-built documents and punch lists for project completion.
• Champion the Quality Control program and ensure timely testing coordination.
• Read and understand plans and attend preconstruction meetings with minutes.
