Job summary

Holder Construction is seeking a Senior Safety Coordinator for projects in Franklin Furnace, OH, Conesville, OH and surrounding areas. This full‑time, in‑person role leads safety execution on major scopes, mentors junior staff, and acts as a key safety leader within the project team.

Ideal candidates will have OSHA 30 (OSHA 500 preferred), BCSP certifications, and strong leadership experience in safety programs across complex operations.

Qualifications

• OSHA 30 required; OSHA 500 preferred.
• BCSP certification (ASP, CSP, or CHST) preferred.
• Competent Person training (cranes, rigging, NFPA 70E).

Responsibilities

• Lead safety efforts for major scopes, trades, or phases of work.
• Review and approve critical JHAs and MOPs.
• Lead incident investigations and corrective action implementation.
• Mentor and develop Assistant and Safety Coordinators.
• Serve as primary safety contact for project leadership and clients.
• Facilitate safety meetings and training.
• Drive a proactive safety culture through coaching and accountability.
