Job summary

Middough Inc. is seeking an On-site Construction Consultant to oversee a large brownfield project in the Pittsburgh area. You will collaborate with the client, architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure quality, safety, and schedule adherence.

You will manage baselines for scope, schedule, and cost, and lead change management while coordinating with project stakeholders to deliver the project on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• 10-15+ years in heavy industrial construction; structural, mechanical/piping, and/or electrical expertise preferred.
• 5+ years experience with scope, budgets, and schedules.
• OSHA 10-hour certification preferred; PMP or PE preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee on-site construction efforts on a brownfield project (~$400MM TIC) to meet design, budget, schedule and safety targets.
• Coordinate with client, architects, engineers, contractors, and safety to plan and supervise field activities.
• Manage project baselines for scope, schedule, and cost; track progress and forecast expenditures.
• Lead change management and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Administer project contracts to ensure compliance with terms and conditions.
• Identify and resolve risks; prioritize and direct problem-solving activities.
• Ensure timely schedule updates, cost tracking, and invoicing.
• Communicate project progress and status to stakeholders.
• Serve as owner's engineering representative for field activities.
