Job summary

CannonDesign is seeking a seasoned Construction Administration professional to act as on-site liaison, ensuring quality and cost control from project inception to closeout. You will review documents, issue field sketches, manage RFIs and submittals, and coordinate across owners, consultants, and the AE team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction or related field required.
• 10+ years of related experience required; healthcare/institutional projects preferred.
• Registration or Licensure preferred.
• LEED accreditation preferred.
• Knowledge of building codes and requirements.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to coordinate across teams.
• Technical knowledge and coordination skills essential; ability to build rapport with the project team.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office and Bluebeam; knowledge of Procore and ACC.

Responsibilities

• Serve as daily on-site liaison among construction managers, GC, client, and AE teams; attend site meetings and coordinate with various stakeholders.
• Review construction documents; develop sketches related to field conditions and coordinate with consultants and the project team.
• Process and respond to RFIs and submittals within contractual timeframes.
• Resolve on-site issues; issue bulletins and provide recommendations with senior CA leadership.
• Monitor QA/QC site visits and manage closeout submittals and documentation.
• Prepare daily and other contract-required reports; work with design team as needed.
