Job summary

Walden Robotics, Inc. is seeking a Member of Technical Staff: Senior Fullstack Robotics Software to own major portions of the on-robot software stack for humanoid robots in industrial deployments.

You will work primarily in modern C++ and Python, tying perception, control, teleoperation, and autonomy into a robust system with onboard services, tooling, and deployment infrastructure. You will collaborate with controls, AI, teleoperation, and hardware teams to ship features end-to-end, from design

Qualifications

• Production software experience in C++ and Python.
• Robotics or latency-sensitive systems experience.
• Linux systems debugging and profiling.
• Experience with inter-process/networked communication frameworks (gRPC, WebRTC, DDS).
• Docker, CI/CD, and cloud services for robot software delivery.
• Strong code quality: testing, maintainability, architecture, tooling.
• End-to-end ownership from design to deployment.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain on-robot services and libraries in C++/Python.
• Integrate perception, control, teleoperation, and autonomy components.
• Build pipelines for packaging, versioning, and deployment to robots (Docker-based environments).
• Extend onboard logging, diagnostics, and telemetry; move data to the cloud for analytics.
• Improve build systems, test infrastructure, and developer workflows.
• Debug real robots in deployments and harden the stack for production.
