Job summary

FactSet is seeking a Senior Oil & Gas Data Specialist to advance U.S. interstate natural gas pipeline nominations, corridor flows, and daily natural gas prices. You will design robust data pipelines, model data, and work with large databases.

You’ll stay current on sector developments and provide expert support to end users in a fast-paced energy data environment. Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor’s degree in CS/Engineering/Finance, 3–5 years of data pipeline experience, and strong Python and SQL

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Economics, Finance, Mathematics, or related field.
• 3-5 years of demonstrated experience working with large databases, building data pipelines, and automating workflows.
• Advanced proficiency with Python and SQL (certifications preferred).
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship now or at any time in the future.

Responsibilities

• Two or more Deep Sector Oil & Gas data products; focus on U.S. interstate natural gas pipeline nominations, major corridor flows, and daily natural gas prices.
• Data management with data modeling, programmatic data acquisition, and designing robust pipelines.
• Stay up to date with sector developments and provide knowledgeable end-user support.
