Job summary

Solomon Associates is seeking an Upstream Advisor to lead client engagements, manage projects, and deliver data-driven benchmarking insights for onshore and offshore Upstream production operations. The role is based in Houston, TX, with domestic and international travel up to 15%.

Ideal candidates will have 8+ years in the Upstream Energy Industry, experience with fixed platforms, FPSOs, and floaters, and a strong ability to translate data into practical client recommendations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Process, Petroleum, or related field).
• Master’s degree and/or MBA/PhD preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality benchmarking results and client deliverables.
• Develop insights, reports, and presentations for clients.
• Support quantitative analysis, research, modeling, and problem solving.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of benchmarking tools and methodologies.
• Develop subject matter expertise across offshore and onshore Upstream production operations.
