Job summary

UTEC is seeking a Party Chief for the Americas Region Offshore to lead offshore survey operations and ensure safety, quality, and on-time delivery for client projects. You will supervise crew, coordinate mobilization/demobilization, ensure data integrity, and report to onshore management and clients.

The role requires a minimum of 10 years in offshore surveying (construction support, LBL, geophysical surveys, or wind farm contexts), a bachelor’s degree in Survey/Geodetics/Geomatics, and proven

Qualifications

• At least 10 years of Offshore Survey experience in Construction Support, Pipelay, LBL, IRM, Geophysical Survey, or Wind Farm.
• Bachelor-level degree in Survey/Geodetics/Geomatics or related field is required.
• Familiar with 4DNAV & EIVA Online Software (Preferred).
• Experience in Deep Water Construction Survey and LBL Operations (Preferred).
• Excellent written and verbal communication for client reporting and daily communications.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience managing a team of 4+ personnel.

Responsibilities

• Supervise survey operations with focus on safety and adherence to contractual requirements.
• Manage mobilization and demobilization activities with safety of personnel and assets.
• Ensure systems comply with project procedures and company standards.
• Coordinate data collection, QC, and distribution per procedures.
• Provide input to management and client representatives when deviations are necessary.
• Prepare operational/field reports and final data transfer per procedures.
• Lead and appraise offshore personnel; ensure role clarity.
