Job summary

IKM Consultants AS in Norway is seeking a Project Completion Engineer to oversee all phases of offshore projects, from planning through final handover, ensuring alignment with objectives.

You will coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, manage schedules and budgets, report progress, and provide engineering support during offshore installation and commissioning. This fixed-term assignment runs August 2026 through July 2027, with a 2/4 rotation.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Project Completion Engineer or similar in energy/offshore.
• Strong background in project management: planning, execution, reporting.
• Experience with offshore operations and construction projects.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Engineering degree or equivalent technical qualification.
• Ability to manage complex tasks in a dynamic environment.
• Familiarity with offshore industry standards and regulations.
• Language: English.
• Location: Offshore, Norway.
• Work schedule: 2/4 rotation.
• Duration: Aug 2026–Jul 2027.

• Oversee all phases of project completion, from planning through to final handover.
• Ensure project activities adhere to strict safety, quality, and environmental standards.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, contractors, and key stakeholders to ensure seamless execution.
• Manage and report on project progress, schedules, budgets, and potential risks.
• Prepare and finalize all necessary project documentation and close-out reports.
• Provide engineering support during offshore installation and commissioning phases.
• Ensure all completion activities are aligned with project objectives and specifications.
