Omega 365 Consulting is seeking a Commissioning Engineer for Process/Utility activities based on Stord/offshore assignments in Norway. The role centers on Completion and Commissioning tasks under the guidance of the Commissioning System Responsible Engineers (SRE), with possible night shifts and rotations.

You will read P&IDs/ISOs, prepare valve lists and CPCRs, and perform commissioning activities to ensure timely completion and safe handover to Asset Operations.

Qualifications

• Offshore experience in operations or maintenance is beneficial.
• Minimum 3 years relevant commissioning experience.
• Experience with mechanical construction, completion or operational delivery in Oil & Gas.
• Familiarity with PIMS and document management systems.
• Good command of English and Norwegian languages.

Responsibilities

• Perform Completion and Commissioning activities per SRE guidance.
• Contribute to safe handover to Asset Operations upon completion.
• Prepare valve lists, CPCRs and complete testing documentation.
• Plan and execute commissioning activities and RFCC handover.
• Coordinate with operation, maintenance, contractors and suppliers.

Assignment Description

The Commissioning Engineer is responsible for performing Completion and Commissioning activities as instructed by the Commissioning System Responsible Engineers (SRE) related to the fabrication and system testing of client topside equipment. This position requires flexibility and periods as commuter or rotation at Stord/offshore to be expected. Possible night shift.

Position Purpose:

Assist the Commissioning System Responsible (SRE) or other personnel in the Commissioning team[s] [/s]with regards to testing, verification and documentation.

MC follow-up and punch-out of defined packages

Contribute to ensure timely completion of commissioning activities in accordance with commissioning plans and requirements on project, while also meeting all clients project and operational requirements

Contribute to the safe and efficient handover of relevant systems to the Asset Operations team upon completion of commissioning activities.

Assistance and performing MC and Commissioning activities as given by Commissioning SRE or others in the Commissioning team:

Prepare, set and/or verify Valve & Blind lists

Complete CPCRs

Execution of Commissioning activities assigned by the Comm SRE on dedicated systems

Verify Construction Field installations are according to design/ISO/P&IDs in collaboration with Commissioning SRE or others in MC/Commissioning team.

Knowledge/knowledge of reading/understanding P&IDs and ISOs

Participate in check-out, verification (Walk Down/Yellow line) according to the RFCC (Ready for Commissioning Certificate) Hand-Over Process

Participate in meetings for planning Commissioning activities.

According to good Alliance practice, ensure effective communication between operation, maintenance, contractors, and suppliers

Reporting to the Commissioning SRE regarding ongoing Commissioning activities

Assist with the collection of documentation related to RFOC (Ready for Operations Certificate) Hand-over according to the System Lead's instructions

Assist related ATS (Agreement for Technical Services) and other resources.

Qualifications

Skilled worker or a related field or equivalent education / experience.

Experience from offshore in either operations or maintenance team is of great benefit

Track record of mechanical construction, completion or operational experience and delivery in the Oil & Gas industry.

Familiarity with Project Completion Systems? PIMS and document management systems

Minimum 3 years of relevant experience
