Job summary

The Global Edge Consultants LLC seeks a senior Pigging / Integrity Engineer to deliver expert guidance on pipeline integrity, flushing, and pigging for offshore decommissioning in the Gulf of Mexico.

You will lead planning, engineering, and execution sequences, coordinate with SURF, subsea, and regulatory teams, and ensure compliance with U.S. offshore standards for safe abandonment and regulatory close-out.

Qualifications

• 10+ years offshore pipeline engineering experience.
• Experience with pigging, flushing and operational integrity.
• Background in decommissioning/abandonment engineering.
• Strong leadership and problem-solving abilities.
• Willingness to deploy offshore for short-duration campaigns (<1 month).
• Excellent cross-discipline communication and client presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Assess pipeline integrity and abandonment readiness.
• Lead comprehensive pigging programs including cleaning and nitrogen displacement.
• Provide offshore engineering support during campaigns and monitor operational readiness.
• Coordinate SIMOPS with SURF, flow assurance and marine teams.
• Develop detailed operating procedures, MOC, and regulatory close-out records.
