Job summary

Global Edge Group seeks a senior Pigging / Integrity Engineer to provide SME support for offshore pipeline integrity, flushing and pigging operations tied to Gulf of Mexico decommissioning projects. The role leads readiness planning, engineering, dewatering, depressurization, and isolation sequences, coordinating with SURF, subsea, and regulatory teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Petroleum, Pipeline, Subsea, or related Engineering.
• 10+ years offshore pipeline engineering experience with pigging, flushing, and operational integrity.
• Experience with decommissioning/abandonment engineering, barrier/isolation philosophies, nitrogen displacement.
• Proactive technical lead with problem-solving capabilities; able to direct planning and execution.
• Willingness to deploy offshore for short-duration campaigns (<1 month).
• Strong cross-discipline communication and client presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct pre-decommissioning integrity evaluations for offshore pipelines and risers.
• Draft recommendations for safe isolation, depressurization, and removal based on data and analyses.
• Architect comprehensive pigging programs including cleaning, gauging, debris clearance, chemical treatment, and displacement sequences.
• Provide offshore engineering support during campaigns, monitor data, and troubleshoot anomalies.
• Develop procedures, MOC documentation, and regulatory close-out records aligned with U.S. offshore rules.
