Job summary

Noble Corporation is seeking an Electronics Technician to maintain and repair MODU electronic systems onboard. You will troubleshoot, support operations, and ensure safety and environmental compliance. The role requires strong leadership to mentor others and effective communication with diverse crews.

Work includes DP Semi-submersibles duties as assigned by the Technical Supervisor. Assist the Technical Supervisor and collaborate with Electrician and Subsea Engineer to support ongoing operations

Qualifications

• Recognized trade qualification from technical college/apprenticeship or equivalent preferred.
• 5+ years of demonstrated or documented experience as an Electronics Technician on a MODU.
• Completion of all training requirements for the position within designated time period.
• Flag State Maintenance Supervisor license for DP Semi-submersibles.
• Superior troubleshooting skills and techniques.
• Complete understanding and use of the Noble Maintenance System.
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to coach, motivate and mentor others.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to interact with diverse groups.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain and repair all electronic equipment onboard the rig.
• Ensure repairs and maintenance are completed safely, on time, and within scope.
• Minimize equipment failure and stay within contractual limits.
• Accurately log permits, isolation tags and equipment status.
• Inspect work sites and ensure work aligns with permits.
• Track PLCs and software versions; update as required.
• Maintain high housekeeping standards onboard.
• Maintain two-way communication with crew and participate in training.
• Assist and mentor new team members.
