Job summary

Oil States International in Arlington, TX is seeking an Assembler Test Tech III to contribute to safe assembly and testing of large steel components in our manufacturing environment.

The role involves handling heavy parts, operating hydraulic tools and cranes, coordinating with teams, and travel to field sites as required to support offshore and onshore testing programs. Applicants must meet rigorous safety standards and be capable of shifts up to 12 hours with occasional extended travel.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background in heavy equipment manufacturing or oilfield services with 4+ years in assembly of heavy equipment.
• Ability to read and follow written procedures and mechanical drawings.
• Experience with hand tools, hydraulic torque wrenches and tensioning devices.
• Strong safety record and ability to work in manufacturing environments.
• Reading and measurement skills, basic math, and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Safely lift, handle and assemble large parts, tools and equipment.
• Operate hand tools, hydraulic torque wrenches, tensioning devices, hydraulic presses, cranes, and forklifts.
• Ensure on-time product shipping and maintain a safe, clean work area.
• Prepare materials lists and coordinate with supervision.
• Assist with mechanical test programs and manufacturing procedures.
• Travel to field operations, offshore or onshore, as required.
