Job summary

Koil Energy is seeking a motivated Assembly Technician to join our production team in Houston. You will prepare, assemble, test, and maintain equipment for onshore and offshore projects, working in a fast-paced environment with safety and quality at the core.

You should read and interpret engineering drawings, handle hydraulic systems, and perform troubleshooting with attention to detail. The role offers hands-on growth, offshore exposure, and opportunities to contribute to process improvements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical or vocational training preferred.
• 1–3 years of experience in manufacturing, production, assembly, or mechanical maintenance preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documents.
• Experience with hydraulic systems, pressure testing, or industrial equipment is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, test, and qualify products, systems, and equipment per specifications.
• Perform product and system testing and participate in qualification activities.
• Flush equipment to NAS 06 specifications as required.
• Ensure equipment readiness and verify compliance with drawings and docs.
• Support onshore projects and maintain records of testing and inspections.
• Assist with maintenance of equipment spreads for onshore/offshore use.
• Inspect equipment, troubleshoot, and repair to ensure reliability.
• Follow safety policies and project procedures.
