Job summary

Ladders seeks a Senior Offensive Security Engineer, Vulnerability Operations to join a leader in the Telecommunications & Hardware space. The role focuses on building offensive security automation to support reconnaissance, exploitation, and validation workflows across modern environments.

You will mentor teammates, shape autonomous tooling, and help scale tradecraft into reliable systems while evaluating frontier models for offensive tasks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 12+ years in security engineering with 4+ years in offensive security.
• Hands-on exploitation in web, cloud/Kubernetes, or systems/binary.
• Strong Python software engineering skills.
• Experience with LLMs and agent frameworks.
• Judgment and responsible approach to offensive testing.

Responsibilities

• Craft and build new red team agents for reconnaissance and exploitation.
• Extend existing agent harnesses across multiple runtimes and model providers.
• Encode operator tradecraft into tools and playbooks.
• Build verification harnesses to confirm exploit findings.
• Engineer safeguards for autonomous offensive capabilities.
• Evaluate frontier models for offensive tasks.
• Mentor engineers and set technical standards for tooling.
