NVIDIA Corporation is seeking an Offensive Security Researcher to lead the security story for GPU firmware, microcode, drivers, and embedded software. You will attack production components, develop mitigations, and partner with architecture, hardware, and software teams to raise robustness across NVIDIA silicon.

Requires deep low-level expertise, 12+ years in security or software, and strong C/assembly skills.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical or Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent.
• 12+ years in software engineering or security research.
• Offensive security experience with low-level software.
• Strong C/assembly skills and kernel/firmware exposure.
• Vulnerability research: fuzzing, static/dynamic analysis, exploit dev.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end security for subcomponents from threat modeling to hardening and verification.
• Design and prototype mitigations (hardware CFI, memory tagging, masking).
• Build tools and processes to raise product robustness.
• Conduct offensive security research across GPU firmware, microcode, drivers.
• Identify vulnerabilities, develop PoCs, and drive remediation with teams.
• Perform threat analysis and security reviews of hardware/software designs.
