Job summary

NVIDIA Corporation is seeking an experienced Offensive Security Researcher in Austin, TX, to advance security across GPU firmware, microcode, kernel drivers, and embedded software. You will identify vulnerabilities, develop PoCs, and collaborate with hardware/software teams to implement robust mitigations.

Ideal candidates have 12+ years in software/security, deep C/assembly skills, and experience with fuzzing, static/dynamic analysis, and exploit development.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical or Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
• 12+ years of software engineering or security research experience.
• Excellent C and assembly skills and hands-on low-level driver or firmware experience.
• Vulnerability research experience: fuzzing, static and dynamic analysis, exploit development.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end security story for specific subcomponents from threat model to hardening to verification.
• Design, prototype, and drive production adoption of new mitigations and hardening technologies (hardware CFI, Pointer Masking, Memory Tagging).
• Develop and evangelize tools and processes to raise product robustness across the company.
• Perform offensive security research across GPU and platform firmware, microcode, and embedded software; identify vulnerabilities and build PoCs.
