Job summary

Neural Solutions in Columbia, MD is seeking an Offensive Security Operations Engineer to perform reverse engineering and software development for networked devices. You will collaborate with analysts, operators, data scientists, and engineers to support mission-focused security operations.

Requirements include 6 years with a Bachelor’s in a technical field (or 10 years without), TS/SCI with Polygraph, Unix/Linux familiarity, reverse engineering with Ghidra/IDA Pro, TCP/IP and Wireshark, and

Qualifications

Familiarity with Unix-based systems.
Experience with reverse engineering Linux-based network devices using Ghidra and/or IDA Pro.
Deep understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP) and analysis of network traffic (Wireshark).
Ability to produce and modify software systems in C/C++/Python/Assembly.
Support for fielded software systems.
Familiarity with Git, Subversion, Jira, Confluence.

Responsibilities

Derive, document, and analyze stakeholder requirements.
Port, modify or augment existing toolsets.
Provide rapid prototypes for early validation and user feedback to demonstrate understanding of mission requirements.
Develop production-ready tools that operate within mission constraints.
