CVS Health is seeking a Principal Engineer for Offensive Operations. This hands-on leader will own and evolve the offensive tooling ecosystem and drive complex red and purple team engagements.

You will mentor operators, design scalable offensive capabilities, and collaborate across security, engineering and threat intel to improve defenses. Requirements include 10+ years in information security, 7+ years in offensive operations, 3+ years leading engagements, and strong programming skills

Formación

• 10+ years of Information Security experience.
• 7+ years in offensive operations and tactics.
• 5+ years building or using offensive tooling in real-world environments.
• 3+ years leading complex technical engagements.
• 3+ years in programming/scripting languages (Python, C/C++, C#, PowerShell, Golang)
• 3+ years in technical writing and post-engagement debriefs.

Responsabilidades

• Lead development, integration, and evolution of offensive tooling.
• Establish best practices for tooling design, automation, and standards.
• Evaluate and adopt new technologies for offensive operations.
• Lead or support adversary emulation and red team engagements.
• Design and execute advanced testing across enterprise and cloud environments.
• Ensure high-quality, repeatable execution.
• Mentor offensive operators and engineers; guide tooling usage and problem-solving.
• Provide tradecraft guidance and internal knowledge sharing.
• Translate offensive findings into defensive improvements with cross-functional teams.
• Align offensive capabilities with business and security priorities.
• Research emerging threats, attack techniques, and technologies.
• Continuously improve offensive capabilities and methodologies.
