CVS Health is seeking a Principal Engineer to lead offensive tooling and operations within Offensive Operations, combining hands-on execution with coaching of operators and engineers.

You will design, implement, and evolve advanced adversarial capabilities, mentor teams, and partner with security, engineering, and threat intelligence to translate findings into durable defensive improvements across enterprise environments.

Formación

• 10+ years in information security/cybersecurity.
• 7+ years in offensive operations and tactics.
• 5+ years building or using offensive tooling in real-world envs.
• 3+ years leading complex technical engagements.
• 3+ years in one or more programming languages (Python, C/C++, C#, PowerShell, Golang).
• 3+ years in technical writing and post-engagement debriefs.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the development, integration, and evolution of offensive tooling and supporting capabilities.
• Establish and promote best practices for tooling design, automation, and standards.
• Evaluate and adopt emerging technologies into offensive operations.
• Lead or support complex adversary emulation and red team engagements.
• Design and execute advanced testing scenarios across enterprise and cloud.
• Ensure high-quality technical execution and repeatable methodologies.
• Mentor offensive operators and engineers; guide tradecraft and problem-solving.
• Partner with security, engineering, and threat intel to translate findings into defenses.
• Research threats and techniques; improve offensive capabilities over time.
