Job summary

GCX is seeking a Principal Engineer, OEM Products, to lead end-to-end product development for OEM mounting solutions used with medical instrumentation and IT systems. You will perform static and dynamic FEA, develop test protocols, and guide cross-functional teams.

You will analyze customer specifications, drive cost and timelines for quotes, mentor junior engineers, and collaborate with marketing, sales, and customers to define concepts and requirements.

Qualifications

• BS/MS in Mechanical Engineering required.
• 15+ years of product development and design transfer experience.
• Strong FEA analysis expertise.
• Experience with healthcare-oriented design (ISO 13485, IEC 60601-1) is a major plus.

Responsibilities

• Conceptualize, develop, verify and validate product designs to meet OEM customer needs.
• Lead cross-functional teams and coordinate with PMO to define project plans, timelines and cost targets.
• Engage with OEM commercial leadership to target opportunities and build customer relationships.
• Provide technical leadership and mentor junior engineers on large OEM projects.
