Job summary

Evolving Solution Services in Petaluma, CA seeks a Sr Manager, OEM Engineering to lead the OEM Engineering organization, mentor a high-performing team, and drive rapid, credible proposals. You will define system concepts, assess feasibility with limited data, and guide design reviews, risk assessments, and schedules to win strategic OEM business.

You will collaborate across Commercial, PMO, Manufacturing, Quality, Sourcing, and Regulatory to ensure manufacturable, compliant and commercially

Qualifications

20+ years of new product development experience.
10+ years of engineering leadership.
Proven ability to scope and estimate with incomplete information.
Proven OEM proposal support and new business pursuits.
Deliver OEM products from concept to commercialization.
Experience with regulated product development (ISO 13485, IEC 60601).

Responsibilities

Lead OEM Engineering team with culture of technical excellence and urgency.
Own technical strategy and execution for OEM opportunities from concept to commercialization.
Interface with strategic OEM customers and lead technical discussions and design reviews.
Rapidly evaluate opportunities and define system architectures and approaches.
Provide scope definitions, feasibility assessments, and development schedules.
Develop rapid design concepts, prototypes, analyses, and layouts.
Coach engineers in rapid concept development and problem solving.
Collaborate with Commercial, PMO, Manufacturing, Quality, Sourcing, and Regulatory.
Drive platform strategies, modular architectures, and design standardization.
Ensure compliance with product development processes and regulatory requirements.
