Job summary

SYNC is seeking a Senior Odoo Systems Engineer to support our U.S. team and own the development, customization, and reliability of our Odoo environment. The ideal candidate understands Odoo anatomy, code, database, security, and business workflows and can translate requirements into robust technical solutions.

Responsibilities include building modules, integrating with e-commerce platforms, and ensuring data integrity across Odoo apps while collaborating with the U.S. team to optimize processes.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on Odoo development in production environments.
• Deep knowledge of Odoo framework, ORM, data models, views, and security.
• Experience building custom modules and API integrations.
• Understanding of end-to-end business processes across Odoo apps.
• Fluent English and ability to lead technical discussions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain custom Odoo modules, features, reports, and automated workflows.
• Configure and customize sales, purchasing, inventory, accounting, CRM, and e-commerce apps.
• Collaborate with U.S. team to gather requirements and improve processes.
• Integrate Odoo with e-commerce platforms, payment services, and shipping providers.
• Diagnose and resolve application errors, data inconsistencies, and performance issues.
