Job summary

StandardAero is seeking an ODA Engineer to lead the organization’s ODA certification activities and ensure FAA compliance with established procedures. You will direct the certification team, serve as the single point of contact for customers, and manage programs in alignment with FAA regulations and the ODA manual.

The role requires broad technical and managerial experience, collaboration across FAA, vendors, and customers, and travel up to 25%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical aviation discipline or equivalent directly related work experience.
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills and ability to address issues proactively.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal abilities.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute technical activities per ODA manual and customer requirements.
• Serve as project manager for ODA programs as single point of contact for the customer.
• Develop, edit and contribute to documents related to certification activities.
• Attend project meetings and own assigned action items.
• Develop and execute certification plans for modification projects.
• Manage project certification compliance and MDL for STC ODA.
• Lead design and program reviews; mentor others in certification processes.
