Job summary

Nordic Solutions is seeking a senior precision grinder to independently setup and operate OD, ID, and cylindrical grinding on CNC and manual platforms.

You will hit tight tolerances on one-off and short-run parts, read blueprints with GD&T, and inspect with micrometers, bore gauges, optical comparators, and CMMs.

Travel across the United States to different facilities, collaborate with local teams, and continuously optimize processes while meeting demanding specs.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years hands-on OD, ID, or cylindrical grinding experience.
• Strong blueprint reading and GD&T skills.
• Experience with hardened steels and exotic materials preferred.
• Willingness to work nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Independent setup and operation across OD, ID, and cylindrical grinding platforms.
• Process optimization and problem solving on the floor.
• Travel to different facilities across the United States.
• Collaborate with local teams to meet demanding specifications.
