Job summary

Bright Vision Technologies is seeking an experienced OCI Cloud Engineer to architect, deploy, and operate large‑scale Oracle Cloud environments, with a focus on security, resilience, and cost optimization.

You will own the OCI engineering lifecycle from landing-zone design and infrastructure‑as‑code to workload migration and ongoing operations, partnering with security and database teams to deliver robust cloud platforms for mission‑critical workloads.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
5+ years cloud engineering experience with strong hands-on OCI.
Production‑level experience with infrastructure‑as‑code using Terraform.
Solid experience with OCI compute, networking, storage, identity, and database services.
Hands‑on experience with Oracle Container Engine for Kubernetes (OKE).
Experience with CI/CD pipelines for cloud workloads.
Strong scripting skills in Python and Bash.
Deep understanding of cloud security, IAM, and compliance requirements.
Experience with observability tooling and incident response.
Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

Architect, deploy, and operate OCI landing zones, compartments, and tenancy structures aligned with governance and standards.
Design OCI networking topologies including VCNs, subnets, gateways, FastConnect, and DRG-based architectures.
Build and maintain OCI infrastructure-as-code using Terraform and OCI Resource Manager with version control and automation.
Implement IAM policies and RBAC using OCI Identity Domains.
Design and operate OCI compute and storage services optimized for workloads.
Operate OCI database services with DBA teams.
Build CI/CD pipelines on OCI DevOps or external platforms for infra and apps.
Implement observability using OCI Monitoring and Logging, and integrate with third‑party stacks.
Drive cost optimization through right-sizing and lifecycle management.
Design disaster recovery and business continuity across OCI regions.
Strengthen security posture and lead remediation efforts.
Advise dev teams on OCI-native patterns and best practices.
Develop automation tooling in Python, Bash, and Terraform.
Mentor junior engineers and contribute to cloud communities.
