Job summary

Bright Vision Technologies is seeking an experienced OCI Solutions Architect to design, deploy, and manage large-scale Oracle Cloud Infrastructure environments remotely across the United States. You will own the OCI engineering lifecycle—from landing zones and IaC to workload migration, observability, and cost optimization.

The ideal candidate has 6+ years in cloud engineering with deep OCI expertise, hands-on Terraform experience, and strong DevOps, scripting, and security skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical discipline.
• 5+ years of cloud engineering experience with strong hands‑on OCI experience.
• Production‑level infrastructure‑as‑code using Terraform.
• Solid experience with OCI compute, networking, storage, identity, and database services.
• Hands‑on experience with Oracle Container Engine for Kubernetes (OKE).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines for cloud workloads.
• Strong scripting skills in Python and Bash.
• Deep understanding of cloud security, IAM, and compliance requirements.
• Experience with observability tooling and incident response.
• Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Architect, deploy, and operate enterprise-grade OCI landing zones, compartments, and tenancy structures.
• Design and implement OCI networking topologies (VCNs, subnets, gateways, FastConnect, VPN).
• Build and maintain OCI infrastructure‑as‑code using Terraform and OCI Resource Manager.
• Implement IAM policies and RBAC using OCI Identity Domains.
• Design and operate OCI compute and storage services optimized for workload patterns.
• Operate OCI database services in partnership with DBA teams.
• Build CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure and applications on OCI DevOps or Jenkins/GitHub Actions.
• Implement observability using OCI Monitoring/Logging/APM and third-party stacks.
• Drive cost optimization through right-sizing and lifecycle management.
• Design disaster recovery and business continuity across OCI regions.
