Job summary

Horizon3.ai is seeking an Attack Engineer with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure expertise to build OCI attack capabilities for NodeZero. You will research OCI services, identify misconfigurations, and develop production-grade attack content that scales across enterprise environments.

You will work with engineers to integrate new OCI offensive security capabilities into the platform, shaping how customers assess Oracle Cloud security at scale. Remote-friendly role.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with OCI security and offensive cloud operations, including IAM permissions, service identities, trust, and resource access.
• Advanced understanding of cloud attack paths and cloud-native security concepts.
• Python engineering skills and experience turning security research into dependable automation.
• Passion for building products, not just finding vulnerabilities.
• 4+ years of professional software engineering or offensive security experience.
• Experience with cloud penetration testing or building cloud security products.
• Collaborated with diverse engineering teams to develop products as an individual contributor.

Responsibilities

• Research OCI attack paths, identity relationships, service misconfigurations, and attacker techniques.
• Design, implement, and validate Python attack capabilities spanning OCI IAM, services, workload identities, compute, Kubernetes/OKE, storage, databases, networks and more.
• Chain weaknesses into realistic attack paths with proof of exploitability and actionable customer outcomes.
• Build and maintain safe, repeatable attack logic and tests; improve reliability and maintainability.
• Collaborate with software engineers and security SMEs to bring capabilities into production.
• Practice rigorous software development to implement OCI-based attack paths under guidance of leads.
