Job summary

Ventus Executive Solutions seeks a skilled mid-to-senior Oceanographer to support an innovative program office in Newport, RI. You will bring extensive physical oceanography knowledge to evaluate solutions and help develop, assess, and integrate ocean environmental capabilities for undersea warfare.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Oceanography or related technical discipline.
• 8–15+ years of experience in tactical oceanography or naval operations.
• Experience evaluating oceanographic data for undersea warfare or mission planning.
• Knowledge of ocean environmental models, bathymetry, and acoustic propagation.
• Experience supporting DoD or Navy programs.
• Strong analytical, technical writing, and briefing skills.
• Ability to work with multidisciplinary engineering and government teams.
