Job summary

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Wesley Chapel is seeking an Occupational Therapy Team Leader to drive clinical excellence and team coordination. You will support the Director of Therapy Operations with daily scheduling, onboarding, and staff development while delivering direct patient care to advance rehabilitation goals.

Qualifications

• Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist or eligibility for licensure in Florida.
• CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from an accredited OT program.
• Minimum of three years of OT experience or leadership, with at least two years of clinical OT work.
• Active on Therapy Clinical Ladder or specialty certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director of Therapy Operations with daily therapy team operations.
• Manage scheduling, orientation, training, and communications with staff and hospital departments.
• Provide direct patient care and build meaningful therapeutic relationships to support recovery.
